Glory Bees,
I hope you will go with us to the ballgame! Now is the time to let me know if you plan to go since I have to confirm how many tickets we will need! The sales person for the RoughRiders games is holding the perfect seats for our group but I have to tell him how many and send money to confirm our reservations this week. Here are the details: Thursday, June 5th we will meet at the church at 6:00pm to board our church van so Daniel can drive us to the ballpark - it’s going to be fun! Tickets are $27 but $10 of that can be used at any of the concession stands! The white envelope is in the church office for you to put your check (made out to Gail Wade) or cash in while you’re at the church. Please come join us to enjoy the evening of baseball and wonderful fellowship with Pastor Milton and your church friends - we look forward to seeing YOU!

The Glory Bees are an active, enthusiastic fellowship of senior adults who enjoy a variety of opportunities to get together with their Suncreek friends. We try to schedule an activity every other month such as catered dinners at the church, a tour of Cowboys stadium, concerts, plays, the Biblical Museum, a RoughRiders baseball game in the spring to name a few, and we're always open to suggestions from our members.

When an outing is planned you will receive an email telling you how to sign up if you want to go so join us when you can. Anyone 60 years or older is welcome to join, and we need some of our younger friends to be drivers when we carpool to an event.
The Glory Bees Name
Our name came from a former beloved pastor, Kathleen Baskin-Ball who used the expression "Glory Be" during those special moments in life when God's presence with us is so overwhelming that all we can say is "Glory be"! As senior adults we have all experienced many of those awe-inspiring moments, so we thought it would be an appropriate name for our fellowship.
