Attend a Sunday Morning Worship Service
Most visitors start by attending a Sunday Morning Worship Service. You are welcome to attend any of our services (8:15am, 9:30am, 11:00am). It is best to arrive a little early to allow time to park. The music for the 8:15am is often led by our 40-member youth choir. Music at the 9:30am service is led by the Worship Team and typically has a more contemporary emphasis. Our Chancel Choir usually leads the music during the 11:00am service, and the music is typically more traditional.
Avoid the urge not to tell others you are a visitor
Let the people around you know that you are visiting the church. Ask persons why they joined the church. This will help you to learn more about the church. When the service is over take the opportunity to introduce yourself to Rev. Tom Palmer, our Senior Pastor.
Stop by the Guest Information Center
Our Guest Information Center is located at the main entrance to the sanctuary. Stop by for information about church activities and ministries. At the Guest Information Center, you also have the option of completing a card to provide your e-mail address to receive the church's weekly e-mail. These e-mails provide a listing of upcoming special church events.
Attend a Suncreek 101 Class
Suncreek 101 is a three-week class that provides an introduction to Methodism, information about Suncreek ministries, and the opportunity to meet others in our church community. Class participants meet at 11:05am on selected Sundays in Room A101. For information about the next scheduled Suncreek 101 class, please contact Rev. Holly Gotelli at Holly.gotelli@suncreekumc.org
Attend Other Church Events
Review the church calendar, call the church office, or search this website for other opportunities. For example, consider joining a Bible Study or attending a United Methodist Women or United Methodist Men’s gathering. If you have children, speak with our Children’s Minister or Youth Minister about activities like Sunday evening youth gatherings or Mission Possible: Kids.
When you are Ready, Join the Church!
Some people visit three Sundays and join the church. Some persons say that they knew almost instantly that they had found their church home. Others visit for months prior to making this commitment.
