SPECIAL SEMINAR:Critical Conversations on Race Group: Depolarizing Conversations on RaceMonday, May 17, 6-9pm via ZoomAre you concerned about the growing tensions over race in America? Do you want to be able to speak on this issue but don’t know where to begin or how to approach those who may be on the other side of the divide? Would you like to connect with other people who are on this journey of learning and healing? The Critical Conversations on Race Group at Suncreek UMC invites you to join them for their special 3-hour May program, which will be facilitated by members of the Braver Angels nonprofit organization. This FREE interactive workshop is for YOUTH and ADULTS who want to learn how to communicate more constructively about race or who are concerned about our nation’s problems with race and want to see progress through the productive work of people of all races. Participants will improve their skills for listening to others and expressing their own views on race in a way that leads everyone to more productive conversations across differences.
