Conference Youth Retreats Jr. High Mid-Winter Retreat The Conference Jr. High Mid-Winter Retreat is typically in Mid-February at Camp Bridgeport. The cost is $70. Conference Youth Summer Camps Register Early!!! Information arrives at local churches in March about these camps. If you would like to attend, let Evan know as soon as possible. He will let you know when registrations begin to be accepted. Many camps fill-up very fast! Sometimes, camps are almost full when the registration forms are received at the church, because youth have already registered via the conference Internet site. Jr. High Camp The Conference Jr. High camps are for students that have completed grades 6 to 8 in the spring. They are held at Camp Bridgeport. The camps usually begin on Monday and conclude on Saturday. The cost is approximately $225. Sr. High Camp The Conference Sr. High camps are for students that have completed grades 9 to 12 in the spring. They are held at Camp Bridgeport. The camps usually begin on Monday and conclude on Saturday. The cost is approximately $225. Music/Arts Camps The North Texas Conference offers a Music/Arts camp for youth each summer. The Youth Music/Arts Camp is for students who have completed grades 6 to 8 in the prior spring. The camps typically begin on a Monday and end with a performance on Saturday morning. For more information contact our Music Minister or Evan Jones at (972) 390-1695. SEEK Camp The Conference offers four camps for persons with disabilities. SEEK stands for Summer Events for Exceptional Kampers. The Youth camp is usually held in early July. Our own Rev. Kathleen Baskin-Ball has directed this camp. Rev. Wally Butts, our former Associate Pastor, served as camp pastor while he was at Suncreek. Several Suncreek UMC members usually attend as participants, junior counselors, or counselors.
