Chancel Choir
Wednesday, 7:15 – 9:00 pm in C122
Our Chancel Choir is striving to be an ensemble of musical and spiritual excellence. They provide musical support for the 11:00am service on a weekly basis and rotate through the 8:15am and 9:30am services periodically. In addition to their service responsibilities, they provide choral music for seasonal services (e.g. Christmas Eve, Good Friday, All Saints Sunday, etc.) and present other musical programs throughout the year.
A particular highlight of this year’s Advent season will be the presentation of the traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols in December. The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is modeled after the service that is presented annually on Christmas Eve at King’s College, Cambridge, England.
There is no such thing as a choir that is too big. There’s always room for more! Join this dynamic group for rehearsals on Wednesdays at 7:15pm in C122.
