Nice start. One huge and obvious omission - there is no way for anyone to contact us. I searched and searched and can't for the life of me find a church phone number or email address listed on our cite. If we want to be a welcoming, inclusive church, people must be able to contact us for information, pastoral care, and other needs. I know this is simply an oversight, but it is glaring - rather like a hospital having an unlisted number...

Oops. It looks like you've corrected the telephone number omission and I now have egg on my face. Sorry for spouting off so quickly.

I would offer 2 suggestions:

1) include the church email address in the contact info, and

2) put the street address, phone number, and email address on the page headers with the logo so that it is easy for people to find. They shouldn't have to hunt for it.

Otherwise - sorry for the ready, shoot, aim of my last comment.

Thank you for your comments Mike. The website has been updated to reflect our church address and phone number at the bottom of each page. We will be adding a contact us feature in the near future.

Me again. Sorry, but I'm thinking about things that would make this websight more user-friendly or have more relevant content.

One thing that would greatly improve the audio sermons - they should be streaming in addition to downloadable. I decided to re-listen to Holly's sermon from Sunday, and it took 3 1/2 minutes to download before I could hear it (this on a fast connection). While having it in downloable MP3 format is valuable (one can put it on an IPod or burn a disk to give to someone) streaming is much quicker (instantaneous) and more convenient to many. As an example, the following address is the sermon page of my mother's church in North Carolina:

http://www.fbca.net/sermons.asp

You will note that not only can you stream the sermons, you can also download them. I don't know how to do this, but I'm sure it is not difficult.

Just a thought.

Will streaming be added as well?

Sounds like you're on top of things pretty well. I'll keep thinking if there is anything else that might be helpful.

Thanks so much for all your hard work on this.
