Fair Trade crafts or support local, national or global ministries. Visit tables with detailed infomation about many powerful charities. Several groups send persons to answer questions about their orgnization. We will provide you
with special gift cards for each gift you purchase.

Proyecto Abrigo
Contributions to this
ministry will go to help pay for cinder block homes that will be built by
the adult, college, and family mission trip teams that travel to Juarez to
replace the cardboard shelters families are currently using as their home.

Mercies of Hope Medical Clinic in Mexico
This ministry is the
community center and clinic connected with the ministry of Proyecto Abrigo
in Juarez, Mexico. The clinic strives to provide affordable dental and
health care for patients who could otherwise not afford any medical
treatment. The community center provides classes to help enrich the lives
of the people in the community including computer, sewing, parenting, ESL
and nutrition classes. |

St. Lukas UMC in
the Czech Republic
Suncreek UMC is in a
partnership relationship with St. Lukas UMC in the Czech Republic. We
strive to provide financial and spiritual support for St. Lukas as they try
to spread the word and love of Christ to a nation where very few persons are
part of churches after decades of government repression of churches. Click here to learn more
about this ministry. One special focus this year is seeking support that would permit our Second Annual English Camp in the Summer of 2008. |

Cameroon Mission
The goal of the
Cameroon Initiative is to start churches, build church buildings, health
care clinics, youth centers and develop pastoral leadership throughout the
country. Suncreek UMC is in a covenant relationship with Reverend Wes
Magruder in Cameroon. One area of special need this year is funding to support hiring a youth minister that will work with youth in churches throughout Cameroon. |

Heifer
International
Heifer International
is a nonprofit organization that works to end hunger and poverty and care
for the earth. Heifer provides food and income producing animals and
training to help impoverished families become more self-reliant. |

Send Hope
Send Hope is a not
for profit organization started by Dr. Tom Brian to help the people of the
Moskito Coast of Honduras. They help with short-term medical, dental and
construction tips. They also provide food, school supplies and clothing in
the people of Honduras. They organization also sponsors bringing children
to the United States for more extensive medical care. |

Boyd Elementary
Boyd Elementary is
located in Allen, Texas and has the surprising statistic that 60% of the
students and their families live below the poverty level. The Christmas
Gift Fair will strive to seek funds to support purchasing books, field
trips, Sky Ranch scholarships and much more for these deserving students. |

Craft Items from
The Greater Gift Company will
also be available for purchase. The Greater Gift Company promotes the
social and economic progress of people in developing regions of the world by
marketing their products in a just and direct manner.
Gift items will be available from Threads of Hope handcrafts which are created in Peru.
We will also have Fair Trade Food available for sale including chocolate and cofee. |
