Ready for some good, old-fashioned fun, Suncreek style?
Then make plans to join in
the fun at our All Church Picnic
Sunday, June 18, 4pm -
Dark
We will gather at Angel and Bill Ball Sr.'s property in Denton
County. It is called Rock Creek Ranch and offers open fields for
games, a fishing pond, and tree shaded areas.
Please bring a meat dish and a side dish to share. We will
plan to have dinner around 5pm; to be followed with fun games,
activities, conversing and R&R. If you’d like to show off your sweet culinary
skills, there will be a yummy “Dessert Contest” so bring your favorite
home-made dessert to enter.
Additional contests include “Dad’s Ugliest Tie” (dig in your closet for a
prize-winning tie!) and “Our Fathers Contest”, plus more. Other things to
bring: your family and friends, lawn chairs, blankets, sunscreen & bug spray,
flashlight, and an appetite for fun! Unfortunately, the ponds are too dry
to fish in, but the tree shaded area should prove very popular.
Activities will include:
Potluck picnic supper
Potato sack race
Three-legged race
Egg Toss
Horseshoes
Dad's Ugliest Tie Contest
Things to bring:
Your family and friends, lawn chairs, blankets, suncreen & bug spray,
