Charities
The primary beneficiary of the 2007 tournament was The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders  (CCBD) at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.  Also, a significantly smaller portion of the proceeds will support Noah’s Place, the special needs classroom at Suncreek UMC.

Children’s Medical Center Dallas is private, not-for-profit, and is the only academic healthcare facility in North Texas dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.  In its 411 beds, and over 50 subspecialty programs, Children’s provides patient care ranging from simple eye exams to specialized treatment in areas such as heart disease, hematology-oncology and cystic fibrosis.  Children’s makes life better for the patients it sees during more than 360,000 visits each year.

In 2008, Children's Medical Center will open the doors of its new hospital in Plano, Children's Medical Center Legacy. With the construction of this new 72 bed hospital, Children's creates the opportunity to better serve the families of the region's northern counties with access to a full-scale pediatric medical center close to home.
