Suncreek UMC! Our programs
and events have grown dramatically in number, quality, and breadth. Our commitment is to
provide ministries through which children are led to a better understanding of
Christian Faith, Bible Literacy, and Worship Preparedness. In all that we do at Suncreek UMC, we seek to help children
understand, experience, and share the love of Jesus Christ. All children are
welcome at Suncreek UMC, and we have a special place for your child.

We offer Sunday School for all ages at 9:30am and 11:00am. Click here for more information including class locations.

Nursery and
Child Care
Suncreek UMC offers nursery care for infants
through two-year-olds each Sunday morning from 8:15 to 12:00 noon. Childcare is provided
for children of all ages for most church events and meetings.
 Mission Possible Kids is for 1st – 5th grade students. Agents are assigned TOP SECRET missions such as making gifts for hospitalized children, raising money to end world hunger, collecting goods for food banks – all while earning Mission Stars for their official MPKids T-shirts after each completed mission.
More than 75 agents have signed on as MPKids agents at Suncreek working to change the world! Our first completed mission (code word: Busy Bags) will help 250 children in area hospital ERs, waiting rooms and homeless shelters.
Our next missions will be on January 18th, February 1st, March 28th, April 18th, May 16th at Headquarters (Palmer Hall) from 6:00 – 8:00pm. A light dinner will be provided.

Children’s
Choirs
We offer a rich variety of
music experiences for children. See the Music Ministry page for detailed information about our three Children’s Choirs, three
Children’s Chimes Choirs, Orff
Ensemble (4-6th grade), Suncreek's
Children's Summer Music Camp, and the
North Texas Conference Music and Arts Summer Camps.

We encourage families to attend one of our three Sunday worship
services together. Children of any age are welcome at our Worship Services.
Children’s Time is a part of the 9:30am and
11:00am services on most Sundays. |
Summer Camps
The North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church offers some great
summer camps for children. Children can begin to attend camp after they have
completed the third grade.

Weekday
Preschool
Our church offers a weekday
preschool from 9:00am to 2:00pm. It serves 18 month to 35 month old
children on Mondays and
Wednesdays. Children who are 3 years old to preschool age attend school on
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. |

Vacation Bible School
Every Summer, we offer an awesome Vacation Bible School. For 2008, the theme is Rainforest Adventure. Click here for more exciting information. |

Bibles for Second Graders
On a Sunday in late August, students beginning the second grade receive bibles at the 9:30am and 11am worship services. We seek to encourage them to start building basic bible literacy skills. |
