The Faith Explorers Class
Faith
Explorers Class
Faith Explorers is a discussion-oriented class, primarily composed of parents
(both couples and single parents) of young children to preteens. The class
has a particular interest in studies which consider current world events and how
we can live out our faith in the midst of society today. Members are active in
mission and offer fellowship gatherings throughout the year. Faith Explorers is
eager to receive visitors each week.
Faith
Weavers Class
This class uses a variety of different curriculum to bring biblical teachings to
daily life application. A recent study has focused on relating the Bible to
current events in our world. The class uses a lesson format that encourages
discussion. Members are primarily couples with elementary age children.
Recent fellowship activities include a Back to School Brunch. Class members are
active in church-wide missions activities. For example, the class has a long
history of supporting the Christmas Connection, a ministry in which
church families are linked with families in need at Christmas.

The Genesis Class
Genesis
Class
The Genesis class explores books of the Bible, Biblical themes (prayer, the Holy
Spirit), and contemporary books such as What’s So Amazing about Grace?
The group enjoys exploring new depths and expressions of their spirituality.
Recent activities include visiting the Botanical Gardens and Biblical Arts
Museum. Class members actively attend a wide variety of church events. Recent
missions activities include supplying food for Samaritan Inn (shelter for
homeless persons) and Project Transformation (an urban children’s ministry).
Many members of the class have adult age children.

The Seekers Class
Seekers
Class
The Seekers class explores topics based on the Bible. Studies are usually
single lessons or lessons over a short time span. Tom Fowler often teaches the
class. Class membership includes singles and couples of varied ages. Many of
the class members are “empty nesters.” Some of the class members are retired
from work, but active in life. The class often gathers for social activities
like eating out on a weekend night or attending a Ranger game. The class
participates in a number of mission activities, including support of health
ministries in Honduras.
The Wesley Class
Wesley Class
The Wesley Class typically uses a book of the Bible or a Christian Book to
create a series of lessons over multiple weeks. Several class members take
turns leading the class. This is a class that values discussion of topics.
Those present are often asked to share their thoughts about a Bible passage or
an author’s statements. The class includes both couples and singles. Many
class members have young children or elementary age children. Some of the class
traditions include leading the church's annual Charity Golf
Tournament and providing support
to an impoverished family at Christmas. They recently began a tradition of gathering on the third Sunday of the month for a meal.
