Middle School Cantate Concert Tour and Mission Trip
June 8 -11
The Middle School Cantate concert tour and Mission Trip is June 8 -11. Concerts and community mission activities are scheduled in Edmond and Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as, Little Rock, Arkansas. This trip is primarily for those in grades 6 to 8 during the 07-08 school year. However, youth in grades 9 - 12 are also welcome to attend. Contact Rev. Kevin Holland for more information. |

North Texas Conference Children’s Music/Arts Camp (completed 3-5 grades)
June 10 - 14

Junior High Mission Trip

Our current plans for the 2008 Junior High Mission Trip are to depart on Wednesday, June 11 and return on Sunday, June 15. We will journey to Little Rock, Arkansas for a number of exciting mission projects. (We will pick up participants in the Cantate Trip in Little Rock).

2008 Vacation Bible School
Rainforest Adventure June 16 - 20
All children who are entering kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall are invited to join us for Vacation Bible School. The 2008 theme is Rainforest Adventure. It is held Monday through Friday from 9am to Noon. For more information, click here or contact Adriene Morgan. |

Confirmation Summer Missions Week (entering 6th grade)

Students entering sixth grade are invited to be part of the Suncreek UMC Confirmation experience. This includes our Summer Missions Week during which students take field trips and learn about the church through hands-on experiences.

2008 Summer Bible Camps

August 11th, 13th, 15th
Summer Bible Camps sponsored by the Suncreek Children's Development Center will be offered during 3 weeks of the summer. The camps will be held from 9am to 2pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Age: 2 years to Kindergarten (for the 2008-2009 school year).
Cost: $75 per week with a one-time registration of $15. We will post sign-up details here soon.

Cantate Concert
and Missions
Tour June 25 -July 5
Cantate, Suncreek's Youth Choir, will travel to the Czech Republic from June 25- July 5 for this year’s Mission Tour. We are especially encouraging our high school age choir members to be part of this trip. In addition to singing, Cantate will also be involved in community service and missions activities along the way. This trip is part of our partnership with the

Mission Trip to Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic
July 10 - 21
We are seeking team members for a trip to Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic this summer. A major part of the trip will be spent running an evening English camp for youth and young adults in the community who already have some basic English knowledge. This is part of our efforts to introduce the church to residents of Karlovy Vary. Due to the decades of Communism and occupation many persons were taught to be suspicious of churches and that the Christian faith is something old and irrelevant.
